WAMM Welcomes Kim Doss-Smith
As Our New Director
Kim has a background in psychology, teaching and nursing. She has been the director of non-profits in health-care and education, and has served on the national board and the local education committee of Every Church a Peace Church. Born into a military family, and married to a veteran, Kim has been active as an associate member of Veterans for Peace. She has worked with VFP, ECPC and WAMM on youth peace-education and counter recruitment. As the mother of several children, her special interests are educating children of conscience, and breaking the cycle of father-to-son military recruitment. With military recruitment on the rise once again and as we face an enormous federal military budget, we look forward to having Kim’s talent, energy and expertise at WAMM.
Special thanks to Connie Fuller
WAMM offers special thanks to Connie for dedicating five years of volunteer accounting service to WAMM. We were exceptionally fortunate to have Connie, who is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Masters Degree in Business, devote her expertise and time to WAMM. We will not only miss her skills and work, which were so important to the WAMM organization and office, but also her buoyant spirit and great sense of humor. We hope to see Connie again soon at the Lake Street/Marshall Avenue Bridge Vigil! . |
