Street Soldiers. Thursday, 9 - 10 pm.
The African American Men Project and Pilot City Health Center are making the global local, by bringing Street Soldiers - a California-based radio show - to the Twin Cities. This interventive, youth-development radio program offers specific methods for violence prevention and conflict reduction, while also using a public and mental health approach to identify factors that put youth across the country at risk. Street Soldiers demonstrates new rules for living that steer youth away from violence and helps reshape the lens through which our children see themselves. FFI: call T.J. at 612.302.4692.
