Designate Women Against Military Madness
In Your Employer’s Workplace Giving Campaign.
What the world needs now is not more war. You may already be doing what you can, yet feel a sense of frustration in not having more time to oppose militarization and global oppression in our world. But, here is an opportunity to do just that while you’re at work every day. When your employer gives you the opportunity to donate to the charity of your choice through a workplace giving campaign, give to Women Against Military Madness. This is especially important today. In our militaristic culture, WAMM would not be able to do the kind of work it does without the generosity of many individuals.
Here's how:
Specifically designate W A M M as your choice of charitable organization by writing in the name: "Women Against Military Madness" through any of the following workplace campaigns:
1. Community Solutions Workplace Giving Campaign.
2. Greater Twin Cities United Way Workplace Giving Campaign.
3. Another workplace giving organization. If neither Community Solutions Fund or United Way is in your workplace, ask your employer if another giving campaign is represented in your workplace.
Then smile a little each day you're at work, knowing you're making a contribution to peace and justice.
