Iraq Today: A Firsthand Account of 5 years of War and Occupation
Sami Rasouli may be the most unique presence on the ground in Iraq today. He was born in Najaf in 1952 and spent the first half of his life in Iraq before coming to the United States. He is 100% Iraqi and 100% American.

He understands both cultures, speaks both languages, and is deeply committed to nonviolence as a method of conflict resolution.
